how to be a writer
- start to write something
- pause and read over what you have so far
- cringe
- backspace everything
- exit out of your computer
- cry on the floor
When you’re needing your space
To do some navigating,
I’ll be here patiently waiting
To see what you find.
‘Cause even the stars, they burn.
Some even fall to the earth.
We got a lot to learn,
And God knows we’re worth it.

a22lotti asked: Most embarrassing high school experience? :p
Hee, good question. :) Too bad I don’t have a good answer. :P
Here’s the only one I can think of. I played in the pit orchestra for the musicals every year, and during one of the performances I apparently forgot to put my phone on silent. So right at the beginning, during the overture when everyone was looking at us because there was nothing else going on, it started vibrating. I’m pretty sure only the people who were sitting really close could hear it (we never had enough seating, so a bit of the audience was always practically sitting in the pit), but our director definitely did. I was afraid of getting yelled at, so I just let it go until it stopped, hoping that no one would be able to figure out where it was coming from. (It was in my purse under my chair, so if I turned it off it would’ve been painfully obvious what I was doing.) They didn’t, but then afterward my friend started talking about how stupid it was that someone not only left their phone on but never shut it off when it started ringing, and I had to pretend to agree with her even though I was well aware that I was the stupid person. :P
cafeconcanela asked: how do u drink ur coffee? how many cups per day?
Ooh yay. :) (I’m gonna count because why the heck not. :P)
1. I like the fancy flavored stuff. I had an iced caramel mocha this morning and it was awesome. But I’ll try pretty much any flavor, and I’ll probably like it. I’m not big on plain coffee though.
2. I don’t drink it every day. Maybe twice a week? That’s probably about right.
